About
Post-emo alternative rock. Haunting vocals, honest lyrics.
Joyce Lee writes for people carrying invisible weight — haunting melodies, poetic lyricism, and radical honesty. When an arm injury kept her from playing for years, she rebuilt her music live on stream, one night at a time, and the people who gathered there became the Misfits.
Her song INVISIBLE won Best Song at Songwriters At Play 2025. She has been featured on the Twitch front page, performed at TwitchCon Las Vegas and Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, and her community has raised more than $50,000 for mental health nonprofits.
Longtime viewers may know her as RockstarAngel — same person, same voice, now performing under her own name.
Be true to yourself. LOVE yourself. Everything else is just background noise.
